Reckitt Benckiser denies Philippines product recall

(Sharecast News) - Reckitt Benckiser said on Monday that it has not been subject to a product recall in the Philippines.

Responding to a media article, the consumer goods giant said in a very brief statement: "The Mead Johnson Nutrition product mentioned in the article 'Enfamil ProSobee Simply Plant-Based Infant Formula' is not registered and marketed in the Philippines."

At 1105 GMT, the shares were down 2.7% at 5,856p but off earlier lows, having fallen to 5,736p earlier in the session.
