(Sharecast News) - Budget airline Ryanair reported a 7% jump in passenger numbers for June on Thursday to a new monthly record.

Traffic rose to 21.2m from 19.9 in the same month a year earlier, while the load factor - which gauges how full the planes are - was steady at 95%. Ryanair said June traffic exceeded its previous record month of August 2025, when it carried 21m passengers.

On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers grew 5% to 211.8m and the load factor was unchanged at 94%.

The airline operated more than 116,800 flights in June.
