SpaceX secures right to buy AI start-up Cursor for $60bn

(Sharecast News) - Elon's Musk SpaceX announced in a post on X on Tuesday that it has agreed with Cursor to either buy the right to buy the AI start-up later this year for $60bn or pay $10bn for their work together.

"SpaceXAI and @cursor_ai are now working closely together to create the world's best coding and knowledge work AI," the company said in the social media post.

"The combination of Cursor's leading product and distribution to expert software engineers with SpaceX's million H100 equivalent Colossus training supercomputer will allow us to build the world's most useful models."
