(Sharecast News) - Telecommunications firm Vodafone has entered into a binding agreement to acquire German cloud and digital transformation firm Skaylink for 175m, primarily from funds managed by Waterland.
Skaylink, which employs over 500 staff across Germany and Europe, specialises in cloud deployments, AI integration and cybersecurity services, with expertise across Microsoft and AWS environments.
Vodafone said on Thursday that the deal would strengthen its offering to business and public sector clients, supporting its strategy to expand in high-growth areas such as managed services, cloud and security.
The acquisition was expected to be completed by the end of March 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
