(Sharecast News) - Atome has extended the deadline for finalising funding documents for its $650m Villeta low-carbon fertiliser plant in Paraguay to 22 April, it said on Monday.
The AIM-traded developer said the extra time was needed to complete equity documentation and related financial arrangements.
It followed an announcement on 10 April, with the company confirming that the funding process remained in its final stages, adding that it would issue a further announcement shortly.
Atome described Villeta as a 260,000-tonne-per-year project, and as its landmark low-carbon fertiliser plant in Paraguay.
At 1525 BST, shares in Atome were up 2.1% at 89.33p.
