(Sharecast News) - Burford Capital announced the completed purchase of 29,227 ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange on Friday, to satisfy equity awards granted to non-employee directors under its 2021 non-employee directors' share plan.
The AIM-traded firm said the shares were acquired on 5 June at a blended price of 943.7355p each.
Following the purchase, Burford granted shares to five of its non-executive directors as part of their annual compensation.
Rukia Baruti, Pamela Corrie, and Robert Gillespie each received 3,717 shares, while Christopher Halmy and John Sievwright received 7,434 and 10,642 shares, respectively.
The grants were based on a purchase price equivalent to 1,278p per share.
At 1313 BST, shares in Burford Capital were up 3.46% at 988p.
