Camellia sells £14m of South Asian art collection

(Sharecast News) - Camellia said on Friday that it had sold a substantial part of its remaining South Asian art collection at auction for net proceeds of 14.0m.

The AIM-traded agriculture and engineering group said the sale took place through Christie's on 11 June.

Camellia said it expected to recognise a gross profit of 13.4m against the collection's book value.

At 1113 BST, shares in Camellia were up 5.47% at 5,642.5p.
