(Sharecast News) - Croma Security Solutions said on Wednesday that it had received the final 440,064 payment from the 6.5m disposal of Vigilant Security.

The AIM-traded security services provider sold Vigilant, which supplied professional security personnel in the UK and Ireland, in June 2023 as part of a shift towards its higher-margin Croma Locksmiths and Croma Security Systems businesses.

Chief executive Roberto Fiorentino said the proceeds had helped expand the group's portfolio of security centres, adding that their contribution had been "key" to positive trading.

Croma said it would provide a trading update for the 12 months ended 30 June later this month.

At 0941 BST, shares in Croma Security Solutions Group were up 5.26% at 70p.
