The AIM-traded fabless microchip maker said unaudited revenue for the year ended 31 May rose 51% to 27.5m, while EBITDA increased to 4.7m from break-even a year earlier, ahead of its 3.5m to 4.5m guidance range.

Year-end cash rose 275% to 7.5m, helped by an oversubscribed 10m equity raise in March.

EnSilica said lifetime supply revenues increased 50% to $375m, driven mainly by two major wins: a user terminal chipset programme with a leading European satellite operator, expected to generate more than $50m, and a $75m automotive semiconductor supply contract.

Its sales opportunities pipeline also rose 50% to $600m, even after $125m of contract wins moved from the pipeline into supply revenues.

The company said it now had five ASICs in volume supply, with several more expected to enter production during the 2027 and 2028 financial years.

For the 2027 financial year, EnSilica said it expected revenue of 32m to 34m and EBITDA of 5.5m to 6.5m, with around 80% of anticipated revenue already covered by existing contracts, supply agreements and customer orders.

Chief executive Ian Lankshear said the year had shown EnSilica's transition into a fabless semiconductor company, adding that the group had "never had a stronger pipeline of opportunity".

At 0951 BST, shares in EnSilica were flat at 100p.
