(Sharecast News) - MTI Wireless Edge said on Monday that an order for communications infrastructure from the Israeli Ministry of Defence had doubled in value to about $4.5m.
The AIM-traded technology group said the contract, awarded to PSK Wind Technologies, had originally been valued at $2.2m when announced on 7 April.
It said the expanded order was expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
Chief executive officer Moni Borovitz said the group continued to see more opportunities in the defence market and demand for its range of defence-related products.
"Overall, the business continues to be very well positioned with a healthy pipeline of potential orders across all three divisions," he said.
At 1209 BST, shares in MTI Wireless Edge were up 1.04% at 69.72p.
