Seascape Energy exec chair on medical leave after cycling accident

(Sharecast News) - Seascape Energy Asia said on Monday executive chairman James Menzies would take an initial three-month medical leave of absence following a cycling accident.

Senior independent director Geraldine Murphy has been appointed interim non-executive chair with immediate effect, with no other changes to board roles.

Murphy, who joined the board in June 2024, has more than 35 years of energy investment banking and M&A experience and is also an independent non-executive director at Ithaca Energy.

"Our thoughts are with James and his family and we wish him a full and speedy recovery," she said.

At 1258 BST, shares in Seascape Energy Asia were down 1.12% at 88p.
