(Sharecast News) - Steppe Cement said on Tuesday that first-half revenue rose 43% to KZT 29.59bn, or about $61m, as cement sales volumes increased 15% to 978,950 tonnes.
The average delivered cement price rose to KZT 30,224 per tonne from KZT 24,361 a year earlier, while the company's market share increased by two percentage points to 15%.
The AIM-traded company said Kazakhstan's domestic cement market was flat year on year and it expected full-year sales of 1.95 million tonnes, below 2025 levels due to lower opening clinker inventory.
Its project to expand capacity to 2.5 million tonnes was progressing to plan, with commissioning expected in summer 2027.
At 0953 BST, shares in Steppe Cement were up 1.46% at 20.8p.
