(Sharecast News) - Synectics has reported further new business wins across southeast Asia and the European renewables sector on Monday, as the AIM-listed security and surveillance specialist continued to expand its geographic reach and vertical exposure.

The group said it had signed an agreement with a southeast Asian government department to enhance and maintain an in-country traffic monitoring camera system, marking its first contract in the transport vertical in the region.

It said the project, which was expected to be delivered in 2026 financial year, would see Synectics provide an upgraded security and surveillance solution capable of monitoring more than 2,000 video channels, alongside control and storage hardware for a central command centre.

The system would deliver real-time video feeds to traffic operators based in a centralised location, enabling them to assess road conditions and implement traffic management plans during incidents and major events.

In Europe, Synectics said it had meanwhile secured two additional contracts to supply its COEX camera range to a flagship renewables development in the Netherlands focused on offshore wind generation in the Dutch and German North Sea.

The company's surveillance technology would be installed on two further offshore substation platforms, providing continuous monitoring of mission-critical areas and operations to support safety and security.

"We are delighted to have secured these new contracts, which further enhance our efforts to both broaden our geographical reach and expand our activities into new verticals, including the broader energy market," said chief executive Amanda Larnder.

"These wins, including notable progress in southeast Asia, are important validation of our ongoing focus and strategic intent."

At 1151 GMT, shares in Synectics were up 1.49% at 238.5p.
