(Sharecast News) - TPXimpact said on Wednesday that it has secured a 22m, two-year contract with NHS England to support digital services underpinning the national vaccination programme.

The AIM-traded technology-enabled services group said it was selected as the successful bidder following a competitive tender process under the Digital Outcomes 6 framework.

It said the contract formed part of NHS England's Digital Prevention Services Portfolio, a national programme focused on designing, building and operating digital and data services to support the prevention of ill health and early intervention.

Under the award, TPXimpact said it would deliver digital services across maternity, neonatal and school-age vaccinations, supporting three end-to-end vaccination pathways across GP practices, schools and community settings.

The work would primarily support healthcare professionals responsible for administering, recording and managing vaccinations through digital systems, including GPs, nurses, midwives, pharmacists and School Aged Immunisation Service teams, as well as other clinical and operational staff.

The programme would also support a broader group of stakeholders, including members of the public such as people who are pregnant or have recently given birth.

"This new award with NHS England is strategically important for TPXimpact and places us at the heart of delivering nationally critical public services," said chief executive Bjrn Conway.

"It reflects the trust placed in us to operate at scale on complex government programmes and demonstrates the progress we have made following the successful execution of our turnaround plan.

"As we now focus on growth and acceleration, this win is a clear endorsement of our capability, our people and our role in delivering digital services that have a lasting, positive impact on society."

At 1410 GMT, shares in TPXimpact Holdings were up 6.57% at 28.24p.
