(Sharecast News) - Film industry hardware and software manufacturer Videndum tapped Brian Morgan to take over as group chief financial officer on Wednesday, with effect from 13 October.
Videndum said Morgan has "considerable strategic and commercial experience" leading on transformational projects, previously acting as CFO at Victoria and holding various senior roles at Synthomer, Essentra and Tate & Lyle.
Interim CFO Sean Glithero will step down on Morgan's appointment, but will stay with the company until the end of his contract on 31 October in order to ensure an orderly handover.
Chairman Stephen Harris said: "Brian's financial and commercial expertise will be invaluable as we continue to negotiate a refinance of the business and work to drive the business forward."
As of 1040 BST, Videndum shares were up 3.43% at 48.30p.
