(Sharecast News) - Technology firm Windar Photonics said on Friday that it was currently in "a strong position", supported by a solid forward orderbook and a growing pipeline of opportunities.

Windar said it was well placed to deliver "a significant increase in revenues" during 2025, with the outlook being "positive" in North America, backed by an increased number of customer interactions. It also highlighted that the unit was targeting closing 1-3 major contracts in H2.

In Asia, outside China, Windar highlighted that it has seen increased activity, especially in Japan and Australia, while in China, the AIM-listed group said the operating environment "has been challenging" but noted that it expected to "see some uptake in activity" in H2.

"As part of scaling the business we have completed the relocation of our main production and R&D facilities to a new larger site in Ishoj, Denmark, which will enable a quintupling of production capacity," added Windar.

As of 0930 BST, Windar shares were up 0.70% at 57.40p.
