(Sharecast News) - Distribution and services group Bunzl said on Thursday that it has bought Blueleaf, a UK distributor of care and nursing home products, for an undisclosed sum.
Bunzl said Blueleaf is highly complementary to its existing business and generated revenue of £58m in 2025.
Chief executive Frank van Zanten said: "I am delighted to welcome the Blueleaf team to Bunzl. Blueleaf is a high-quality business that further strengthens our position in the attractive UK care home market.
"The combination of the two businesses will broaden our customer proposition and provide opportunities to leverage our scale and capabilities. We look forward to supporting the business in its next phase of growth."
At 1225 BST, Bunzl shares were 2% higher at 2,702p.
