(Sharecast News) - AIM-listed Hargreaves Services said on Friday it has been selected for a two-year engineering project at the £5bn Sizewell C nuclear power project on the Suffolk coast.
The firm, which delivers industrial and land development services, will provide the design, procurement, manufacture, installation, testing and commissioning of three foul water treatment facilities required at the site.
The contract starts early next year and will contribute revenues across the two financial years ending May 2027 and 2028, the firm said.
While HSP didn't disclose the value of the deal, Sizewell C's chief commercial officer labelled it a "significant UK contract", taking its spend in the UK to date to "around £5bn".
Hargreaves Services said the award "will help underpin existing group revenue and underlying profit before tax forecasts" for the coming two years, with consensus revenue forecasts currently at £292m and £305m for FY27 and FY28, respectively.
"We are delighted to have been selected by Sizewell C for this critical aspect of the wider nuclear project," said HSP boss Simon Hicks.
"The award reflects the growing strength of our engineering and project delivery capabilities and further demonstrates our ability to support nationally significant clean energy and infrastructure developments across the UK."
The stock was up 1.1% at 842.79p by 0833 BST.
