(Sharecast News) - Geotechnical contractor Keller Group said on Monday that it had secured a further $650m contract variation for the reconstruction of the I40 highway in the US, taking its total work on the project to around $1bn.
Keller began work on I40 in 2025, with the latest award following a series of packages already underway. Keller said roughly 10% of the total programme had been completed so far, and that the new variation was expected to extend activity on the scheme over the next three to four years.
The FTSE 250-listed group added that the additional work would further strengthen longerterm revenue visibility, lifting its order book to about £2.4bn. Given the multiyear nature of the contract, Keller said there would be no change to expectations for its 2026 fullyear results.
Chief executive James Wroath said: "We are delighted to have secured this significant additional work package on this major US infrastructure project. It is an exceptional project for Keller - the largest in our history - and one we are successfully delivering due to the strength of our technical capabilities, our ability to work at scale and the excellent collaboration across our US business units."
As of 1030 BST, Keller shares were up 5.08% at 3,473.90p.
