(Sharecast News) - Tuesday sees the release of full-year results from budget airline easyJet, catering firm Compass and pub group Marston's.

Also on the corporate front, interim results are due from online electricals retailer AO World and food producer Cranswick, along with Telecom Plus.

Trading updates will be released by Beazley, Intertek, B&Q owner Kingfisher and Petershill Partners.

For easyJet, UBS forecast FY revenues at 10.5bn, versus consensus of 10.1bn, operating profit of 690m, versus consensus of 686m and pre-tax profit of 662m, compared to consensus of 660m.

"We think the focus will be on building blocks going into 2026 (traffic, potential fare change, ex fuel unit costs, fuel)," the bank said. "However, we think the results will be overshadowed by the UK budget the next day."

As far as Telecom Plus is concerned, AJ Bell analysts Danni Hewson and Russ Mould said that after a solid trading update in August, chief executive Stuart Burnett will again be looking to reassure with the first-half results that the company is on track to meet its full-year guidance.

"Analysts and shareholders will also look to customer churn and for any sign of increased bad debts," they said.

"The bad debt charge across the whole of the last financial year to March 2025 was 33.4 million, or 1.8% of sales, up from 30.7 million and 1.6% of sales respectively in the prior twelve-month period. Management blamed that increase on a temporary regulatory moratorium on the installation of pre-pay meters at customers who refused to pay.

"This moratorium is now ended but management has noted it will take time for debts to come down, even as they are recovered through appropriate Ofgem price cap allowances."

On the macro front, German third-quarter GDP figures are due, while across the pond, the latest ADP four-week employment change average will be released, along with retail sales and the producer price index for September.
