Dekel Agri-Vision reports stronger first-half production

(Sharecast News) - Dekel Agri-Vision said on Friday that its palm oil and cashew operations both delivered stronger first-half production, with crude palm oil output rising 7.3% to 22,676 tonnes as fresh fruit bunch processing increased 11.5%.

Crude palm oil sales volumes rose 5.0% to 22,225 tonnes, while average pricing was broadly flat at 956 per tonne.

At its cashew operation, raw cashew nut processing increased 45.7% to 3,165 tonnes, driving an 82.0% rise in production and a 105.4% increase in sales volumes.

Chief executive Youval Rasin said the company had "good momentum across both operations" and was approaching the second half with confidence.

At 1226 BST, shares in Dekel Agri-Vision were down 6.52% at 0.35p.
