(Sharecast News) - Iomart Group announced the consolidation of its cloud services business under a single brand, Atech, on Friday, in a move aimed at strengthening its market positioning and enhancing client engagement.
The AIM-traded firm said the rebranding marked a strategic shift as the group looked to deliver a more integrated and streamlined proposition across its secure cloud services portfolio.
It said the transition would bring together Atech's innovation and agility with the scale and infrastructure strength traditionally associated with the Iomart name.
The unified brand architecture was reportedly designed to simplify market messaging and improve the clarity of Iomart's differentiated value proposition.
Iomart said the initiative formed part of its broader growth strategy, and reflected its ambition to become the UK's leading secure cloud services provider.
The group said aligning its offerings under the Atech brand would support its ability to meet evolving client demands with a more cohesive and scalable approach.
"This step is not just a branding name change, it is a further step in our transformation," said chief executive officer Lucy Dimes.
"By uniting the strengths of two exceptional cloud brands under one, we are simplifying how we present ourselves to the world and sharpening how we communicate with our stakeholders, all underpinning our growth strategy."
At 1255 BST, shares in Iomart Group were up 2.02% at 25.3p.
