(Sharecast News) - Journeo said on Tuesday that it had received purchase orders worth 1.3m to supply bus safety systems and high-security cloud-based software services to Metroline Manchester.

The transport technology group said it would provide digital CCTV systems and its Journeo CMS digital wing mirror technology for new Wrightbus Electroliner vehicles entering Metroline Manchester's fleet later this year.

Each vehicle will also include a Journeo Edge gateway, connecting it to the Journeo Portal for remote access to video evidence, secure sharing for incident investigations, and system health monitoring.

Journeo said most of the hardware installation revenue was expected to be recognised in the current financial year, with recurring software licence and support revenue extending through 2027 and beyond.

At 0931 BST, shares in Journeo were up 2.86% at 450p.
