(Sharecast News) - Quality assurance provider Intertek said on Wednesday that it remained on track to deliver a strong 2026 performance as it posted 7% Q3 revenue growth and upgraded divisional guidance across several units.

Intertek said yeartodate revenues rose 6.4% to £2.7bn, with 5.4% likeforlike growth and a 1% contribution from M&A activity. Q3 likeforlike revenue increased 6.4%, led by 9.8% growth in its consumer products unit, 4.3% in its corporate assurance division, 7.5% in health and safety, 9.2% in industry and infrastructure, and a 0.6% decline in its world of energy arm.

The FTSE 100-listed firm highlighted strong margin progression driven by pricing, mix, cost controls and operating leverage, alongside robust free cash flow and higher returns on invested capital.

Intertek said consumer products saw broadbased momentum, with doubledigit gains in softlines and government & trade services, while corporate assurance delivered midsingledigit growth in business assurance and doubledigit gains in Assuris, health and safety posted strong foodtesting demand and steady chemicals & pharma growth, and industry and infrastructure benefited from higher capex in oil and gas, strong minerals demand and increased construction activity, supporting midsingledigit growth expectations. World of Energy remained flat, with stable growth forecast for 2026.

It also reiterated expectations for midsingledigit group likeforlike revenue growth, continued margin expansion, strong earnings growth and strong free cash flow in 2026. It also said its EQT acquisition remains on track for completion between Q426 and Q127.

As of 1025 GMT, Intertek shares were down 0.08% at 5,915p.
