Nicholas Hyett

Nicholas leads on HL's UK smaller companies and alternatives investment research and is a member of the Senior Research Team. He provides oversight and challenge to fund selection across all sectors on the Wealth Shortlist. Nicholas is a CFA Charterholder and first joined HL in 2016 as an equity analyst, leading HL's share research function from 2019 to 2021. He returned to HL in 2026 after a five-year spell co-managing discretionary portfolios and conducting alternatives research.
