After completing a masters degree in Economics, he joined HL in 2010, starting out on the Investment Helpdesk before qualifying as a Financial Adviser.
Bradley provides financial advice on a wide range of topics, including investments, pensions & retirement planning, inheritance tax, long-term care planning, trusts and protection. Bradley has worked directly with 1,000s of HL clients, helping them achieve their financial goals and aspirations through collaborative financial planning.
He is an accredited member of The Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) and specialises in later life planning.

Charlie Hutchence
Investment Writer

Charlie started working at HL in 2013 on the investment helpdesk. He's since joined our writing team and covers investments and ISAs. He's passionate about the value of long-term investing and making your money work harder for you.

Chris joined HL in 2012 after graduating from the University of Cambridge.

Clare Stinton

Clare joined HL in 2014, having graduated from Cardiff University with a first class honours degree in Sociology and Criminology. She spent a few years learning the ropes on the Investment Helpdesk, before moving to HL Workplace where she has been responsible for creating and delivering financial education. She worked closely with businesses to strategise how best to engage their employees and empower them to save and invest with confidence.
Now responsible for the identification of future wellbeing trends, Clare's goal is to improve the financial literacy and resilience of the nation. She is a strong believer that knowledge is power, and is the key to people making their money work as hard as they do! She is particularly passionate about ensuring a future of financial equality for women and is considered an SME on the Gender Pension Gap, having spent the last few years raising awareness around the obstacles women typically face when it comes to their pension savings.

Devleena has more than 10 years of experience working in communications for financial companies in India and has worked for both the private and public sector in the UK. She joined HL in 2022 as a Creative Communications Executive and was soon promoted to a Manager leading campaigns for the Pensions and Retirement squad.

Didi Ager

Didi has an impressive career in finance spanning three decades. After graduating with a degree in Banking & International Finance, Didi began her career specialising in foreign exchange in the city before becoming a senior investment manager. Her experience in institutional investing has given her a good understanding of markets and investor behaviour.
After taking a career break to raise children, Didi moved to retail investing. She joined HL in 2017 and qualified as a financial adviser within just nine months of study commencing. She's since achieved chartered status with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and become a fellow with the CII, demonstrating her depth of knowledge.
As an investment adviser, she loves applying everything she's learned to help clients understand their finances and achieve their goals. She's passionate about writing articles so she can share her insight and guidance on a wider scale.

Helen Morrissey

Helen joined Hargreaves Lansdown in August 2021, after having spent 18 years working across other areas of the pensions industry. Before HL, Helen worked as a pensions specialist at Royal London and was also an award-winning pension journalist, working on titles such as Professional Pensions, Global Pensions and Retirement Planner.
Her role is now to work with the media to raise awareness of key retirement issues to help people build financial resilience as they move towards later life. The pension system can be complex and Helen highlights the main things people need to be aware of, such as how to boost their state pension and being scam aware. With pension policy constantly changing she stays on top of any government announcements and looks at what they mean for people's retirement planning.

Hugh Breach

Hugh is one of our Financial Planners at HL. He helps people make the most of their money so that they can achieve their future goals. As part of that, he writes insightful articles on a wide variety of topics from decision making techniques to understanding tax allowances.
He joined HL in 2015 on the graduate scheme and spent two years working across various departments in HL. These included Investment Helpdesk, Operations, Investment Research and Marketing before embarking on a career as a Financial Adviser in 2017.
Hugh graduated from Newcastle University with first class honours degree in History. He holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, the Investment Management Certificate and is an accredited member of the Society of Later Life Advisers, specialising in long-term care.

James Atkinson

Laura specialises in all things financial planning with over 6 years' experience. She covers a wide range of topics, including top tips for inheritance tax planning, retirement and growing wealth. But her passion is to help empower women to close the wealth gap and navigate the unique set of challenges they face.
Her goal is to help people secure their financial future and make the most of their money. She works to ensure clients at HL get the right level of help they need, whether its managing their finances by themselves or getting a helping hand along the way.
Laura obtained a degree in Business and Marketing and a post-grad degree in Marketing Communications.

Maike Currie
Head of Content
Skills, competence and experience:
Maike heads up HL's content and campaign teams. Her role is to provide strategic direction on all targeted communications and content, driving engagement and deepening relationships with our clients. Maike is well-versed in talking to self-directed investors about markets and money, and a leading industry voice on the importance of encouraging more women to invest.
Prior to joining HL, Maike lead the content strategy for Fidelity International's personal investing and workplace investing businesses. She has worked as a financial journalist across a number of FT publications, including the Investors Chronicle. A well-recognised investment commentator, Maike regularly features on the BBC's Wake Up to Money and Radio 4's Today programme. She is also the author of A Search for Income: An investor's guide to income-paying investments.

Matthew Taylor
Content Editor

Matt is the Content Editor within HL's Editorial team which is responsible for our flagship Investment Times magazine, as well as articles and regular topical feature pages. He first joined HL in 2017, starting out on the Investment Helpdesk before then becoming a Senior within the Investment Helpdesk and later moving to the role of Content Editor.
Matt graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Business Management and holds the Investment Management Certificate.

Michelle Branco

Michelle is a pensions and retirement planning specialist with over 12 years' experience in the industry. She leads our communications strategy for pensions working closely with our proposition, PR and analyst teams and covers a broad spectrum of topics, including pension regulation, financial planning and retirement income options.

Sarah joined Hargreaves Lansdown in 2017, after 14 years as a financial journalist. She worked for the likes of Bloomberg and Moneywise before going freelance.
Sarah provides insight and analysis to the media, and co-presents HL's ‘Switch Your Money On' podcast.
Her areas of expertise include savings and financial planning, but she also covers everything from tax to borrowing, spending and the housing market.
She is passionate about encouraging people to get to grips with every aspect of their finances, so they have enough money for the things that really matter to them in life.

Susannah Streeter

Susannah joined HL as Head of Money and Markets following a 15 year career at the BBC. She was the anchor for World Business Report and Business Matters on the BBC World Service and reported on financial and economic themes for BBC Breakfast, Newsnight and the BBC Budget programme.
She also hosts major economic and business summits around the world, interviewing leading economists, central bankers and senior political figures. Susannah follows monetary policy movements and fiscal policies closely to assess the impact on financial markets and economic growth, and has extensive experience in covering technology stocks and the retail sector.
Susannah contributes to HL's commentary across broadcast and print media, including HL's ‘Switch Your Money On' podcast.

Aarin Chiekrie

Aarin is an Equity Analyst on the share research team, providing regular research and analysis on individual companies and wider sectors.
Before joining HL in 2022, Aarin worked at a wealth management firm, helping to deliver positive outcomes for clients. Having a keen interest in global economics, he knows how macro-events can impact individual companies.
Aarin graduated from the University of Liverpool with a first-class degree in Economics. He is currently undertaking the CFA programme.

Derren Nathan
Head of Equity Research
Skills, competence and experience:
Derren has over 15 years of equity research experience across multiple sectors on both the buy and sell side. He joined Hargreaves Lansdown in 2022. Prior to that he was Head of Research at Hybridan LLP, a well respected corporate broker in the City, advising companies on fundraises, IPOs and the aftermarket, as well as providing investment research to institutional investors.
After graduating from the Manchester School of Management he began his career in accountancy practice, starting off in Corporate Recovery and Insolvency (a helpful introduction on how not to run a business), before spending 4 years at PwC's investment funds division.
Derren is dedicated to enabling access to insightful digestible expert opinion for retail investors, and helping to demystify financial analysis and equity valuations.

Matt first joined HL in 2015, spending time in client-facing roles on the Investment Helpdesk. He moved into a management position in 2017, overseeing our Investment related correspondence and joined the share research team in 2021.
Matt holds the Investment Management Certificate and is currently working toward the Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification.

Sophie Lund-Yates
Lead Equity Analyst
Skills, competence and experience:
Sophie is an Equity Analyst on the share research team, providing research and regular articles on a selection of individual companies and wider sectors. Sophie's specialities are Retail, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Aerospace & Defence as well as a few of the big tech names including Facebook and Apple.
Sophie first joined HL at the beginning of 2017 where she worked on Trade Support, supporting our stockbrokers and dealing operations. Here she gained invaluable insight into the operational side of markets and trading, before joining Share Research in summer 2018. She credits her interest in the world of finance and investing to a year spent studying at the University of Hong Kong.
Sophie holds the Investment Management Certificate, and has also passed the Securities component of the CISI Investment Advice Diploma. She's currently working towards the CFA's Certificate in ESG Investing.

Our fund research team are responsible for Wealth Shortlist and selected other fund and investment trust updates.

Aidan Moyle
Investment Analyst
Skills, competence and experience:
Aidan joined the Research team in December 2022 and is responsible for analysing funds and investment trusts in the US and Global Sectors. Prior to this role he worked at Mercer Private Wealth where he was responsible for the daily monitoring of their Discretionary Management Service, across a variety of sectors. He has a keen interest in macroeconomics and in particular US monetary policies and the impact it can have on clients' investments.
Aidan holds the Investment Operations Certificate and is currently studying for the Investment Advice Diploma.

Hal Cook
Senior Investment Analyst
Skills, competence and experience:
Hal is a part of the Senior Research Team and is responsible for analysing funds and investment trusts in the Fixed Interest and Multi-Asset sectors. He also provides oversight and challenge to fund selection across all sectors on the Wealth Shortlist, and votes on all proposals.
Hal joined HL in August 2022 from Mercer Private Wealth where he was responsible for fund selection and monitoring for their Discretionary Managed Service, across multiple sectors. He was also part of the portfolio construction committee who decided what funds should be used in client portfolios. Prior to this role Hal worked in pensions consulting, helping pension scheme trustees and corporates manage their pension scheme provision.
Hal has 15 years' experience in financial services, has a degree in Business and Economics and has completed the Investment Advice Diploma.

Henry Ince
Investment Analyst
Skills, competence and experience:
Henry first joined the Research team in 2020 where he analysed UK Smaller Companies and Global funds. He then spent 18 months at Gresham House Asset Management in Business Development working closely with their UK investment team. He re-joined HL in July 2023 and is now responsible for the Asia and emerging markets fund sectors.
Henry has four years' experience in financial services and has a first-class degree in Economics. He is currently studying for the Investment Management Certificate.

Joseph Hill
Senior Investment Analyst
Skills, competence and experience:
Joseph joined HL in 2017 as part of our graduate scheme, before joining the Research team in August 2019. He is part of the team that analyses and selects funds for the Wealth Shortlist. His sector responsibilities are UK Growth, UK Equity Income and UK Smaller Companies.
As a member of the Senior Research Team, he also provides oversight and challenge to fund selection across all sectors on the Wealth Shortlist, and votes on all proposals.

Kate Marshall
Lead Investment Analyst
Skills, competence and experience:
Kate is Lead Investment Analyst at HL, and is responsible for the Asian and emerging markets fund sectors. She leads a team of Investment Analysts, and as a member of the Senior Research Team also provides oversight and challenge to fund selection across all sectors on the Wealth Shortlist, and votes on all proposals. She's also involved in compiling investment portfolios for HL's advisory team, and is a senior member of the Investment department.
Kate has eleven years' experience in financial services and joined our investment research team in 2011. She has a first class degree in Business Studies and has completed the Investment Management Certificate.
ESG research team
Our ESG Analysis team is responsible for ensuring HL's approach to ESG integration evolves in line with industry best practice, and that investors have the tools and information needed to invest responsibly.

Dominic Rowles
Lead ESG Analyst
Skills, competence and experience:
Dominic Joined HL in June 2014 after studying economics at university. He leads the team responsible for developing of ESG integration across the business, and ensuring best practice is upheld.
He's passionate about ESG and sustainability, and enjoys learning from fund managers and other industry experts who are dedicated to making the world a cleaner, greener place, and passing that knowledge on to our clients. Dominic works with different parts of the business, including HL Fund Managers, Investment Analysis & Research, Advice and Workplace to push the ESG agenda. Dominic holds the Investment Management Certificate and the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.

Laura Hoy
ESG Analyst
Skills, competence and experience:
Laura is part of HL's ESG analysis team, working to offer research and analysis to help with sustainable decision making. She also works with other parts of the business to help integrate ESG.
Laura joined HL in 2020 and has over a decade of experience writing research and analysis on individual companies and market trends. She's passionate about making responsible investing more accessible. She holds the Investment Management Certificate, and has also passed the Securities component of the CISI Investment Advice Diploma. She's currently working towards the CFA's Certificate in ESG Investing.

Tara Clee
ESG Analyst
Skills, competence and experience:
Tara joined HL in 2018 after studying Human Geography at Cardiff University. Following two years on the graduate scheme, she joined the research team in 2022 as an ESG Analyst. She's responsible for strengthening our ESG analysis capabilities, implementing the ESG Investment Policy and boosting our climate change and biodiversity stewardship.
She is passionate about climate change and making it easy for retail investors to invest sustainably. Tara holds the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, the CFA Investment Management Certificate, the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing and the CFA Certificate in Climate and Investing.

Emma Wall
Head of Investment Analysis and Research
Skills, competence and experience:
Emma is Head of Investment Analysis and Research. She is responsible for developing and implementing the investment processes for Hargreaves Lansdown Asset Management, including the Wealth Shortlist. Her team provides strategic asset allocation, and analysis on equities, funds and investment trusts, for HL platform, workplace and advised clients.
Emma also leads the Senior Research Team, which reviews the Wealth Shortlist funds against parameters designed to flag potential risks to clients. She reports to the Distribution Investment Oversight Committee.
Emma joined HL in April 2019 from Morningstar where she provided investment news, views and analysis to investors across the UK, Australia, Canada and India. Prior to joining Morningstar in July 2013 Emma spent six years as a financial journalist at the Daily and Sunday Telegraph.
