(Sharecast News) - Amaroq Minerals announced the start of trading of its shares on the OTCQX Best Market in the United States on Tuesday, under the ticker 'AMRQF', providing what it described as greater access and transparency for US investors.
The AIM-traded,. Greenland-focused miner said the move would allow US investors to access the same level of disclosure available to shareholders in the UK, Canada and Iceland, without issuing any new shares.
It said its stock would continue to trade on AIM, the TSX Venture Exchange and Nasdaq First North Iceland.
"We have enjoyed a strong level of support from US investors to date, and we hope that with the increased visibility of a quotation on the OTCQX, this will continue to grow and expand our global reach, as we execute on our strategy of becoming the proxy for Greenland's growing mining and infrastructure industries," commented chief executive Eldur Olafsson.
At 1253 BST, shares in Amaroq Minerals were up 2.11% at 79.65p.
