(Sharecast News) - Cirata announced on Monday that it has secured a $0.7m, two-year contract renewal with one of Canada's top five banks for its data integration software.

The AIM-traded firm said the deal, which would be processed through the Google Marketplace, extended the bank's use of Cirata's Live Data Migrator (LDM) technology across several functions, including data migration, synchronisation and disaster recovery.

It said the renewal reflected continued confidence in its technology and services.

"This renewal represents confidence in Cirata and its implementation of Live Data Migrator across multiple use cases, including data migration, synchronisation, and disaster recovery," it said in its statement.

At 0839 BST, shares in Cirata were up 6.24% at 28.68p.
