(Sharecast News) - RF solutions firm Filtronic has secured a £13.4m contract to supply high-performance modules for an electronic sensor system.
Filtonic said on Monday that the was awarded for the "complex manufacture and testing of critical" components, with delivery expected to commence in the middle of 2026.
Filtronic said the modules weill be built and tested at its new secure and highly automated hybrid microelectronics facility in Sedgefield, County Durham.
Chief executive Nat Edington said: "We are proud to continue strengthening our defence portfolio, which highlights the market's ongoing confidence in our ability to execute complex programmes to the highest standards.
"Aerospace and defence remains a key sector in our growth strategy, and this latest order reflects Filtronic's proven track record of successful project delivery, collaborative partnerships, and manufacturing excellence."
