MTI Wireless Edge secures $1.2m antenna order

(Sharecast News) - Communications and radiofrequency technology specialist MTI Wireless Edge announced on Tuesday that its antenna division had secured a significant repeat order for the production of military antennas.

The AIM-traded firm said the order, valued at $1.2m, was expected to be fulfilled within six months.

"We are very pleased to receive this repeat order as it demonstrates the continued demand for our products," said chief executive officer Moni Borovitz.

"We see more opportunities in this specific area of conformal antennas, some for new development projects and some for use in existing products, but all resulting in our technology being used in more applications."

At 1455 BST, shares in MTI Wireless Edge were up 1.39% at 46.64p.
