(Sharecast News) - Tasty confirmed on Monday that it has held advanced talks with David Page - the former chief executive of Pizza Express and former executive of The Fulham Shore - about his possible appointment to the board and that is evaluating funding options that could include an equity capital raise.
In a statement responding to a Sky News article earlier in the day, the AIM-listed restaurant owner and operator said it has also held advanced discussions with Nicholas Wong, former finance director of The Fulham Shore.
The company, which owns the Wildwood restaurant chain, said it will make further announcements as and when appropriate.
According to Sky, Page is seeking close to £10m of new funding from institutional investors.
At 1310 BST, the shares were up 82% at 1p.
