(Sharecast News) - Gooch & Housego said on Thursday that its expectations for the financial year ending 30 September remained unchanged, although trading was expected to be more heavily weighted towards the fourth quarter than previously anticipated.

The AIM-traded photonics technology group said supply-chain constraints were affecting the timing of order book conversion and programme deliveries, while global uncertainties remained a risk to near-term execution of its strategy.

The update accompanied publication of the scheme document for its recommended cash acquisition by Greenlight Bidco, first announced on 16 July.

At the close on Thursday, shares in Gooch & Housego were flat at 1,220p.
