(Sharecast News) - MedPal AI said on Thursday that its automated pharmacy operations continued to perform strongly in January, with dispensing volumes rising by more than 10% month-on-month and supporting monthly revenue above 350,000.
The AIM-traded AI-powered digital health group said its wholly-owned subsidiary MedPal Limited dispensed 36,951 items during January, up 10.5% from 33,433 items in December.
Based on an average item value of 9.70, the company said the level of activity continued to underpin pharmacy revenue in excess of 350,000 per month.
MedPal AI said the increase reflected the effectiveness of its AI-driven triage system and robotic dispensing infrastructure, alongside growing patient demand for both NHS and private prescriptions.
The group also highlighted rising usage of services delivered through its MedPal.clinic weight-loss platform.
"January has delivered another excellent month of growth, with over 10% more prescriptions dispensed than in December," said chief executive Jason Drummond.
"This performance reflects the scalability and resilience of our automated pharmacy model and reinforces our confidence in the ongoing expansion of our digital health offering."
At 1235 GMT, shares in Medpal AI were up 7.32% at 5.5p.
