He has managed clients both on a discretionary and advisory basis in that time, across global markets and all sectors. He has demonstrated robust risk management skills and is extremely client focused. Colin graduated from Aberdeen University with a MA in Accountancy and went on to acquire further qualifications including the London Stock Exchange exams as well as the LSE Private Client Futures and Options exams.

Mark Williams has more than 10 years' experience in investment management, principally at the London based boutique firm of Charteris Treasury Portfolio Managers Limited. He is co-manager of the HC Charteris Gold & Precious Metals Fund, a position he has held since the fund's inception in 2010. The fund was ranked No 1 in the UK across all sectors in calendar 2016 with an annual gain of 133.95% (Source: FE Analytics). Mark graduated from Surrey University in 2005 and a year later entered the investment management sector with Forsyth Partners as well as gaining further experience at brokerage houses, RP Martin and WH Ireland. He joined Charteris in November 2008 as a junior fund manager assisting with the management of both individual private client portfolios and the management of in-house Charteris funds. Apart from jointly overseeing the performance of the Charteris Gold & Precious Metals fund, he is also involved in managing the high-achieving Charteris Premium Income Fund and Charteris Global Macro Fund. Mark was recently the subject of a cover story interview by Citywire WM magazine. In 2012 he was a cast member in Robin Hardy's 2012 cult horror movie ?The Wicker Tree? in which he played the character of ?Paul? . The film was released in the USA in January 2012 and achieved worldwide distribution

He has been a regular contributor to the national written press, guest appeared on various television networks including Bloomberg, CNBC, Reuters, BNN, RT & BBC Radio 4 and panelled at prestigious events such as Mines & Money, CISI, London South East, Euro Money & Private Investor Conference. He manages the HC Charteris Premium Income, HC Charteris Strategic Bond as well as the HC Charteris Gold & Precious Metals funds; the latter being the best performing fund across all sectors in the UK for calendar year 2016
