(Sharecast News) - Video editing platform developer Blackbird said on Wednesday that 2024 was "a significant year" for the group.

Blackbird said that, for the first time, its Blackbird division delivered both a positive underlying earnings performance of roughly £500,000 and positive cash flow.

The AIM-listed group stated there were a number of key renewals, including multi-year deals with a global financial news organisation and FIFA, as well as annual renewals with the US Department of State and CBS Sports.

"We will continue to take a data-driven approach to marketing, opening up additional channels and markets at the appropriate time," said Blackbird.

"This is an exciting time for the company as it leans into our technological advantages and benefits from the talented team we have in place."

As of 1025 BST, Blackbird shares were up 2.86% at 5.40p.
