(Sharecast News) - Brave Bison announced on Thursday that it has extended its period of exclusivity in ongoing negotiations to acquire MiniMBA from Centaur Media for an enterprise value of £19m, as discussions between the parties neared conclusion.
The AIM-traded digital media, marketing and technology group said the exclusivity period, originally announced on 9 May, had been extended by a further seven days to 26 June to allow time to finalise the potential transaction.
It described the talks as "well advanced" in its statement, and confirmed that the extension was agreed with the consent of Centaur Media.
The company added that there was no certainty the acquisition would be completed, but said further updates would be provided in due course.
MiniMBA, founded by marketing expert Mark Ritson, offered online marketing courses and had become one of Centaur's fastest-growing and most profitable brands.
At 1440 BST, shares in Brave Bison Group were down 2.24% at 2.84p.
