(Sharecast News) - Net zero energy services provider eEnergy clinched a deal with Spire Healthcare Group for the provision of photovoltaic systems across 38 sites.

The £5.2m contract followed the successful installation of a first trial site and the resulting revenues would be recognised during the 2024 fiscal year.

According to eEnergy's boss, Harvey Sinclair, the contract was one of the company's largest to date and reflective of its position within the healthcare industry.

For his part, Spìre finance chief Jitesh Sodha noted the company's commitment to turn carbon neutral by 2030, whilst reducing its costs.

The contract would support eEnergy's existing forecasts, the company said.
