(Sharecast News) - Gama Aviation confirmed on Friday that it is in talks about the possible acquisition of Tyrolean Jet Services (TJS), an Austrian provider of aircraft management and charter services.

Responding to press speculation, it said: "The company's interest in TJS is consistent with the group's strategy to grow its Aircraft Management & Charter business."

Gama said discussions between the two parties are ongoing and remain subject to further negotiations, diligence, and board approval. As a result, they are not expected to be concluded until after the company's delisting from AIM.

"Accordingly, there can be no certainty any transaction will be completed and, if it does, on what terms such a transaction might take place," it said, adding that a further announcement will be made in due course.
