(Sharecast News) - Artemis Resources said in an update on Wednesday that technical director Julian Hanna would step down from the board and transition into a consultancy role as project manager for the Cassowary Project, effective 1 January.
The AIM and ASX-listed explorer said Hanna would focus on advancing the Cassowary Project and the recently-announced Sharon Dam copper project under an earn-in and joint venture with Red Metal, located around 50 kilometres south of the Cassowary Intrusion within the Madura Copper Exploration Belt.
In his new role, Hanna would be responsible for progressing work programmes and commencing drilling activities across both projects in the first half of 2026.
Artemis said the change followed the company's expansion into what it described as a high-leverage copper frontier, highlighted by the Sharon Dam iron oxide copper-gold target, which was announced to the market on 24 December.
"Julian has been central to shaping Artemis' exploration strategy and bringing rigour to our technical programs," said executive director Jozsef Patarica.
"We are pleased to retain his expertise focused on the Cassowary and Sharon Dam Projects."
The company said Hanna's move off the board would allow Artemis to retain his technical experience while aligning management resources with its next phase of exploration activity.
At 0816 GMT, shares in Artemis Resources were down 10.59% at 0.38p.
